It is with a lot of sadness that we are announcing the closure of Forbidden Art. We have put everything into our business and have been holding on by a thread for some time. For the sake of our family we have had to make the heartbreaking decision to close down permanently.
We are a small family business and for the last 6 years have always prided ourselves on putting our customers first. Unfortunately for us, too many of our Customers over the last 2 years haven't returned the favour. We have put ourselves out there and bent over backwards for people, been too generous in the face of what we now know were blatant lies to garner sympathy in one way or another, yet we have always made sure that people walked away with the best of our time and artwork. To say this has gone unappreciated is a huge understatement.
For all of the fantastic customers who have ordered, paid and appreciated the efforts to create their artwork we thank you for your support. As is usually the case the minority ruins it for the majority. We have been struggling for some time with multiple customers refusing to pay for their completed, large accounts. Accounts that were set up to help them through their own financial difficulties even though it was a risk to us. As a small family business this is our sole income, our livelihood depends on it and with five children to support, these non-payments have quite literally taken the food off our table, and almost the roof over our heads. A single person ripping off a small business and taking advantage of our generosity is one thing, but when there's multiple people all doing the same thing, it has devastating results.
Although it doesn't convey the amount of respect and gratitude we have, we wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to our thousands of customers over the past 6 years who have ordered from us, shared our work, given us shout outs and simply appreciated the time and effort that we put into everything we do. Without you we wouldn't have even had a business to start with and we really do appreciate every single order, review and kind word that has been said.
While this chapter is sadly closing for us, Steve's talents are not going to waste. He has been given the opportunity to continue creating his fantastic artwork by Caine and family at Brydon Spraypainting on the Gold Coast. As the old saying goes, one door closes and another one opens, we're truly grateful for the experience we've gained over the last 6 years and the opportunity to keep improving on that experience alongside Caine and the team at Brydon Spraypainting in the years to come.
So as such, we will not be able to take on any more orders, and our online Store has now closed. But if you have any inquiries about Bike or Automotive work, please feel free to contact Caine at Brydon Spraypainting on 0499 699 880, or pop in for a chat at 10/657 Pine Ridge Road, Biggera Waters.
